Willow Wood at East Setauket was established in 2002, this pet friendly, gated community is located on the North shore of Long Island in East Setauket. The Willow Wood community consists 44 townhouses with 2/3 bedrooms. Both The Aspen/The Birch models are two story models, sorry no ranch style homes here. The Aspen has its main bedroom on the 1st floor, while the Birch has all its bedrooms upstairs. Each unit features an attached garage, 9ft ceilings on first floor, central air conditioning, gas heat and a patio.

Inside Willow Wood at East Setauket
Are you ready to throw in the shovel?, thinking about condo life? Wanting to stay in Three Village Schools? Well, look no further than Willow wood at East Setauket. You could when looking at a map it’s on the North Shore of Long Island in between Stony Brook and Port Jefferson and it’s right off 347 which is Nesconset Highway. Taking a little ride down a Willow Wood Drive you can see that it’s one street in at the end there is a cul-de-sac that does turn us all around and we come back out the same way we went in.
It is a charming planned community located in East Setauket and it’s a park-like setting where you wouldn’t even really know it was there if you didn’t already know, so you can easily pass right by it but it. It is so close to shopping, restaurants, hospitals, schools, trails, beaches etc. It’s really all right outside this community. There is a nice big beautiful shopping center with a Walmart , Kohl’s, Outback, BJ’s not far from there so you have plenty of shopping well.
You can see that Arrowhead Elementary is right here which is very close by and let’s zoom out so you can see that this is the golf course right here. Stony Brook University Hospital is not too far from there, also Stony Brook University itself the school. The common charges are right around $515 (2024). They are we’re able to keep the fees relatively low for the area due to the fact that it doesn’t have a clubhouse. The fees cover area maintenance, landscaping snow removal, garbage removal, water and things of that nature. If you’re looking for clubhouse, Willow wood is probably not going to be your top choice unfortunately.
If you’re a pet lover there’s no pet restrictions so that’s a big plus. If you’re looking to possibly buy now and maybe rent later there are no rental restrictions either so that is also an added bonus. According to niche.com, Three Village is the second best school district in Suffolk County. The Willow wood Community is serviced by Arrowhead Elementary, Robert MurphyJunior and also Ward Meville High School.
